About the Role

The Storeroom Attendant will be responsible for maintaining and issuing the tools and supplies used in the production supply crib located on the site of our client in Manati, PR.

What You'll Do

1. Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment and requisition stock to replenish inventory
2. Perform cycle counting
3. Mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tags, stamps, or electric marking tools
4. Maintain general housekeeping
5. Manage inventory of tools and equipment
6. Coordinate customer needs
7. Identify cost-saving initiatives
8. Deliver tools, equipment, or products to workers, manually or using a hand truck
9. Assist with optimizing scheduled maintenance operations to reduce breakdowns
10. Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear, reporting damage or wear to the supervisor

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with daily operation of stockrooms and ability to lift boxes (40 lbs)
• Professional phone demeanor
• Experience with computer-managed inventory systems
• Purchasing skills are a plus
• Experience working with maintenance and manufacturing personnel is a plus
• Ability to be flexible
