Job Summary

Storeroom Attendant is an individual contributor positioned within a customer's location to fulfill daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and/or Vallen inventory, while maintaining a professional, clean, and organized work environment. Fast-paced role requiring a lot of walking throughout the facility. Intended as a 3-month temp assignment with potential for temp-to-hire. Warehouse is not temperature controlled (can be cold in winter, hot in summer). Steel toe shoes required.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM for training; likely transitioning to 7:30 AM-4:00 PM after training.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, and put away incoming product, goods, tools, and/or equipment; unpack bales/crates/containers; check for damage and invoice discrepancies
• Sort, label, move, and store items per predetermined sequence (size, style, product codes); optimize crib space
• Issue product, goods, tools, and/or equipment to site employees; maintain accurate records of issued/returned items
• Enter data into database/computerized systems to maintain stock records; retrieve information for inquiries (inventory levels, delivery schedules); document discrepancies on error logs
• Request requisitions to replenish inventory

Experience

• 3+ months of relevant experience and/or training
• Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse environment
