Position Summary

Provide functional support to the CMMS Administrator for inventory control tasks (i.e. receiving, inventory, and issuing spare parts via CMMS and Oracle).

  • Accurately receive stock, nonstock, VMI, CAR project parts via Tabware and Oracle, and resolve issues on the Invoice On Hold and Invoiced but Not Received reports.
  • Label all parts and bins accurately, add blank repair tags to repairable parts upon receipt, issue requested parts from stock to work orders, and assist in ensuring proper stock levels are met.
  • Operate forklift, enter work orders when maintenance is needed, perform daily checks, and keep the lift filled with fuel.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Planning Department to stage requested MRO parts.
  • Perform cycle counts of stocked inventory.
  • Make runs to local vendors to pick up parts as needed, including occasional out‑of‑town pickups.
  • Order certain parts via Purchasing Card.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly stores area.
  • Stock all parts in proper bin locations.
  • Track items that are out for repair.
  • Receive and ship all parcel‑post packages and LTL shipments.
  • Handle and store inventory items safely, completing daily checks to secure all parts from the shipping dock and protect them from weather conditions.
  • Identify and resolve any visual damage upon receipt of merchandise.
  • Perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Make decisions that directly affect plant production.
  • Perform work order kitting as needed and in compliance with kitting procedures.
  • Assist customer employees and contractors in finding parts and supplies needed.
  • Secure storeroom doors and the NWC gate daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Powers Industrial Fork Truck Certified.
Physical Requirements

Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, often exposed to heat, cold, inclement weather, grease, oils, dust, and dirty working conditions. Tasks involve standing, climbing, walking on elevated catwalks and inactive conveyors, and occasionally lifting heavy objects (50 lbs. or more).
