Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Job Summary

We are a fast-growing family-owned company seeking a detail-oriented and reliable team member to fabricate and assemble storefront doors and frames, operate saws and milling equipment, and install glass and hardware. This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to follow work orders, and willingness to rotate between key production tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Review work orders thoroughly, checking all material for defects/damage before cutting or assembly begins.
  2. Operate saws, cutting material to specified lengths, inspecting material before and after cutting, and ensuring the saw is cleaned daily. Maintain an organized cutting area.
  3. Prepare mill materials for building storefront doors and frames, measuring materials before and after milling. Keep the milling area clean and organized.
  4. Fabricate and assemble storefront doors, checking measurements and handling door installations using power tools, drills, and punch presses.
  5. Install locking mechanisms and follow work orders precisely.
  6. Assemble frames, ensuring accurate measurements with tools such as drills, saws, and grinders. Wrap and box frames for shipment.
  7. Install glass into doors using correct glass stops. Lift and handle glass safely with team members. Wrap doors for shipment and ensure all hardware is correctly installed.
  8. Transfer materials efficiently using a forklift and track materials via computer.
  9. Report quality issues to the department lead as necessary.
  10. Maintain a clean and safe workspace following 5S practices.
