Job summary

United States Department of Defense commissary stores seek Store Worker Leaders to oversee one or more departments (grocery, produce, meat, etc.) and to perform the regular duties of the department. You will guide staff, keep shelves stocked, and ensure safety in handling products while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include reading the job announcement, applying on time, and supporting coworkers with stocking, rotation, and efficient product placement.

Job description

Store Worker Leaders serve over one or more commissary store departments (e.g., grocery, produce, meat, etc.) and, in addition, perform the regular, non-leader store worker duties of the assigned department(s).

Physical requirements: (1) Continuous walking, standing, bending, or stooping, and use of arms to fill shelves and counters. (2) Frequently lifts or moves heavy boxes or crates weighing up to 50 pounds or more. You will attest to your ability to perform these physical requirements in the Questionnaire.
