They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly customer service, helping customers navigate the wide range of products, and impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and our mission.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experiences:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years of outdoor hobbies, interests, and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and engage with customers, with bilingual skills a plus.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow safety and operational documents.
• Basic math skills and common sense for instructions.
• Operate POS equipment and coach others (Cashier only).
• Write reports and correspondence (Cashier only).
• Knowledge of inventory software (Cashier only).
• Passion and knowledge of outdoor hobbies (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Meet legal requirements for firearm sales (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Provide friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good hearing and vision to perform duties.
• Follow work hours, policies, and rules.
• Ability to walk, reach, talk, sit, climb, and lift (up to 60 pounds).
• Repetitive motions and specific vision abilities required.
