Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experiences:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years of outdoor hobbies, interests, and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Ability to connect, build rapport, and engage with customers and community through sports and outdoor pursuits; bilingual a plus.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety and operational documents.
• Proficiency with basic math and understanding instructions.
• Operate POS systems, symbol, and telephone (Cashier only).
• Write routine reports and correspondence (Cashier only).
• Knowledge of inventory software and order processing (Cashier only).
• Passionate about outdoor hobbies; fishing, hunting, shooting, camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Meet federal and state requirements for firearm transactions (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Qualify for FOID card (Illinois only, Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Use of basic tools and equipment.
• Provide friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness.
