Aéropostale is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering an amazing customer experience, building a high-energy team, and maintaining a visually appealing store that represents our brand.

You will report to the Store Manager and help develop associates, execute store operations, and uphold standards for merchandising. This role requires urgency, adaptability, and a passion for winning as part of a dynamic Catalyst Brands team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to create action plans to achieve results and grow the business.
• Understand and demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales.
• Engage with customers to build relationships and brand loyalty by using company tools.
• Develop team members who are committed to creating a great customer experience.
• Oversee assigned division of responsibility and be accountable for results.
• Support the Store Manager to ensure merchandising and operations standards are met consistently.
• Learn about all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive the business.
• Remain composed during challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
• Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and execute management functions in the absence of Store Manager.
