Goodwill Industries of Northeast Iowa, Inc. is seeking an Independence Store Team Lead to manage daily operations, supervise Sales Associates, and ensure smooth donation-to-merchandise flow. The role includes customer service, cash handling, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include directing daily tasks, stocking and presenting merchandise, and training team members while maintaining high standards of store performance. This is a full-time, on-site position in Independence, IA.

Responsibilities

• Directs and assigns daily tasks to Sales Associates and Utility workers.
• Exercise independent judgment and make timely decisions.
• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers; manage checkout queues efficiently.
• Sort and stock donations to ensure high-quality merchandise and store readiness.
• Operate cash register and maintain smooth customer flow within service standards.
• Oversee loading/unloading of donations and ensure proper recording of receipts.
• Guide new team members on duties, policies, and best practices.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, report repairs and safety concerns.
• Complete daily paperwork, deposits, and store opening/closing procedures.
