Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lytle, TX to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist in merchandising, opening/closing duties, and safeguarding assets while training Store Associates.

Qualifications

• Reading, interpreting and explaining operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a friendly manner.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing returns, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized per company standards.
• Protect store assets, including cash."
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Clean and restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash.
