Dry Goods in Merrillville, Indiana is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will support the store manager in motivating associates to help customers create their own personal style and assist with all operations. You will build relationships, share product knowledge, and maintain a clean, exciting store.

You’ll lead by example in delivering outstanding service, coaching teammates, and driving sales while ensuring store goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Motivate associates to deliver outstanding customer service – train, coach and lead by example
• Develop relationships to grow store business
• Execute all duties of a sales associate and achieve individual sales and account goals
• Assess associate performance to improve the quality of service the customer receives, increase sales, and meet store goals
• Develop and implement solutions to solve customer problems and store needs
• Be available to work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts
