Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least two years of relevant work experience required.
• Support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets.
• Compliance with federal and state requirements for selling and processing firearms transactions, where applicable.
• Qualification to obtain/maintain FOID card (Illinois only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills; effective problem-solving and communication abilities with customers and team members.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety rules, operating instructions, plan-o-grams, and manuals.
• Proficiency in preparing routine reports and correspondence.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Working knowledge of inventory software, order processing systems, and Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.

Other Requirements (excluding Lead Cashier):

• Compliance with federal and state requirements for firearms transactions, where applicable.
• Qualification to obtain/maintain FOID card (Illinois only).
• Completion of Firearms Sales Certification Training, where applicable.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Good hearing and vision to perform job duties.
• Adherence to work hours, policies, procedures, and professional behavior standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, handle, and perform repetitive motions; lift up to 20 pounds regularly.
• Frequent stooping, crouching, grasping, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing, and lifting 21 to 40 pounds.
• Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, and lifting 41 to 60 pounds.
