The Store Support Manager is responsible for supporting operational performance across multiple locations by monitoring service levels, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, and coordinating issue resolution efforts. This role serves as a critical link between field operations, logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and customer support teams to ensure operational excellence and a high level of service execution.
The Store Support Manager leverages data and reporting tools to identify opportunities for improvement, drive accountability, and support company-wide operational objectives. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track operational performance metrics and company goals across multiple locations.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in reviewing service disruptions, delivery issues, inventory challenges, capacity constraints, and other operational concerns.
- Prepare recurring reports for leadership and elevate critical issues requiring immediate attention.
- Track operational metrics related to service levels, capacities, discrepancies, customer concerns, and support center activities.
- Utilize existing reporting tools and systems to gather, analyze, and communicate performance data.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance service, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Operations, and Project Management teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage daily Store Support activities, ensuring open requests, escalations, and action items are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Facilitate communication between operational teams and support functions to resolve issues and maintain service standards.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and follow-up documentation related to operational concerns and resolutions.
- Support leadership with special projects, operational analysis, and performance improvement initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze operational data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, reporting, and data analysis functions.
- Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), reporting tools, or related operational software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and follow-through on operational issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, distribution, customer support, or a related field.
- Experience with forecasting, operational reporting, business intelligence tools, and performance analytics.
- Knowledge of database systems, reporting platforms, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to walk throughout warehouse and distribution environments as needed.
- Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and operational conditions.
