Job summary

Pickup Coffee is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations at multiple locations, ensuring a customer-centric and efficient environment. You will lead Baristas, coach performance, and maintain brand standards across service, safety, and quality.

The role involves coordinating staff schedules, training, and supporting promotions, with focus on incident handling and reporting, and ensuring smooth cashiering and financial processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Supervisor in a restaurant, coffee shop, or equivalent food and beverage establishment.
• Barista experience is a plus; a certificate in Food and Beverage Service is an advantage.
• Amenable to working flexible and extended operational hours as needed and overseeing different store locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall store operation to ensure a successful, efficient, and customer-centric store environment.
• Supervises Baristas to ensure store integrity and compliance with company standards.
• Provides guidance, coaching, and motivation to empower team members to achieve development and team goals.
• Identifies Barista performance challenges, coaches their performance, and monitors progress for continuous improvement.
• Supervises Baristas to ensure products are served with friendly, individualized service and educates customers about premium beverages and foods.
• Trains and oversees Baristas to ensure products are prepared to approved standards and in a timely manner.
• Ensures welfare, safety, and security of employees, store locations, and operations.
• Manages staff schedules to meet manpower requirements across shifts and store activities.
• Coordinates with Team Leaders to balance manpower schedules and staff movements.
• Oversees cashiering and fund management, ensuring standard funds, deposits, and sales reporting comply with policies.
• Maintains product knowledge and prepares beverages according to standards and processes.
• Manages cleanliness, sanitation, safety, equipment functionality, and supply availability.
• Maintains workspace and stores per brand standards; coordinates repairs and maintenance.
• Implements company policies and updates.
• Facilitates incident investigations in coordination with the lessor.
• Administers employee reports including benefits, time records, pay slips, and uniforms.
• Supports marketing promotions and store events and educates staff on related activities.
