Job summary

XL Parts and The Parts House (TPH) a Marubeni Group is seeking a Store Stocker to receive and stock automotive parts in our Texas facility. You will move, palletize, and organize items while maintaining accurate records.

This role requires a High School Diploma, 0–3 years in a warehouse, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; typical 40-hour week with potential overtime. You will read orders, prepare shipments, and participate in inventory and safety procedures while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic computer skills for inventory recording are needed.

Responsibilities

• Reads customer orders and requisitions to determine items to move or stock.
• Conveys materials from receiving areas to storage or to packing/shipping.
• Sorts and places materials on shelves by size, type, or code.
• Assembles customer orders and places them on pallets or shelves.
• Marks materials with IDs and records quantities received or distributed.
• Operates computer to enter records and prepares parcels for shipment.
• Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

The Store Stocker is responsible for receiving and stocking Automotive parts. The ideal candidate should be able to move and think quickly, able to bend at the waist and knees and climb a short ladder to reach top shelves.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Reads customer’s order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders in pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information. Open boxes, crates, and other containers.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within the warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Prepares parcels for mailing and shipment via common carrier.
• Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school Diploma
• 0 to 3 years working in a warehouse
• Good to above-average computer skills
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures preferred
• Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Some overtime may be required
• Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:

Typical 9-hour day to include reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting and carrying. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
