Job description

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Store Stock Associate to join our rapidly growing team of auto parts professionals. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented with a strong work ethic. As a Store Stock Associate, you will be responsible for various duties that help control and maintain inventory in our warehouse.

Responsibilities

1. Pull all orders for dispatchers regarding parts to be delivered by our drivers to wholesale customers.
2. Pull for the demands of the main counter retail/wholesale customers and will-call, ensuring accuracy and completeness, routing products appropriately, and meeting management-set timeframes.
3. Maintain cleanliness and dispose of boxes, packing materials, and pallets, along with general housekeeping of the facility and specific product line areas.
4. Follow and adhere to all safety rules, including handling hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience stocking, loading, or pulling.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and recognize part numbers and line codes quickly and accurately.
• Legible handwriting.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform duties as assigned by management.
• Physical ability to lift and move parts up to 60 pounds and push/pull 300 pounds using appropriate aids.
• Capability to move heavy equipment with moving aids such as hand trucks, dollies, motorized carts, and pallet jacks.
• Repetitive bending, stooping, and reaching up to 8 feet with the use of a stool or ladder.
• Ability to stand or walk for entire shifts.
