Job summary

OuickChek is seeking a Coffee Host to optimize the Coffee Area's overall performance at our Hazlet, NJ location. The role focuses on customer service, stocking to planograms, keeping the department clean, and supporting the Food Service and Checkout areas.

You will train team members, maintain equipment, and help achieve sales goals while upholding company principles of integrity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and tend to customers in a prompt, efficient, friendly manner.
• Keep department in stock and set to planogram.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free department at all times.
• Sweep, mop, and clean, as necessary.
• Follow the sales program.
• Review the Food Service P6:L Reports.
• Ensure all equipment is operational, complete preventive maintenance, and call for service when necessary.
• Work closely with the Food Service Leadership Team to achieve sales goals.
• Assist in the Food Service Area and Checkout Area, as needed.
• Ensure all displays are set to standard and signage is correct.
• Keep up to date on new policies and procedures.
• Attend all mandatory/scheduled store meetings.
• Train new Team Members, as needed, including how to properly make coffee and O Cafe items.
• Order department product accordingly.
• Communicate any questions, concerns, or issues to the Store Leader timely.
• Communicate with all shifts to ensure smooth operation of the Coffee Area.
• Pass all Mystery Shops and store walks.
• Practice and enforce loss prevention policies.
• Complete monthly department inventory.
• Other duties 6: responsibilities as assigned.

Job description

OVERVIEW

The key goal of the Coffee Host at OuickChek is the overall performance of the Coffee Area. The Coffee Host is responsible for a specific department in the store and may have additional responsibilities such as meeting sales goals, achieving shrink goals, maintaining in-stock conditions, following planograms, maintaining a clean department, and ordering product for the department.

The Coffee Host needs to demonstrate our core principles of Integrity, Respect, Community, and Spirit setting an example for others to follow. In addition, they must be able to provide exceptional customer service while encouraging, training, and motivating Team Members to complete all shift tasks and achieve goals.
