Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Burlington, MA is hiring an in-store shopper to fulfill online orders for curbside pickup. You will use a handheld device to communicate with customers, select fresh groceries, and stage orders for pickup.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent customer service. Part-time hours include mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, with starting pay of $18–$19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, preferably in food service, grocery, or retail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to communicate with and fulfill customer orders.
• Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders and stage them in fulfillment area.
• Properly handle all product, including properly bagging items to reach the customer.
• Make appropriate substitutions as needed and process payments.
• Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workspace.
• May be expected to carry out other customer service duties within the store, as needed, including running a register.
