Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the following duties, in addition to other assigned tasks:

• Acts as Manager on Duty (MOD), performing all necessary functions for successful store operation. The Shift Supervisor will take direction from the Store Manager and make key decisions regarding store resources.
• Executes merchandising plans and maintains in-stock conditions throughout the store.
• Engages with customers, providing feedback and service results to associates. Resolves customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Oversees work assignments to utilize talents and abilities while maximizing profits. Ensures compliance with labor laws, including lunch breaks and scheduling restrictions.
• Oversees departmental procedures for receiving, producing, and replenishing merchandise, including inspecting products upon delivery, ensuring pricing accuracy, freshness, quality, and proper product rotation. Maintains necessary logs per company policy.
• Ensures associates operate equipment safely, complying with OSHA requirements, and adheres to price accuracy, weights, and measures laws.
• Performs daily store walks to identify successes and opportunities, provide direction and feedback, and maintain visibility and accessibility to associates and customers.
• Supports and executes company programs to achieve business goals. Communicates policies clearly to associates and ensures adherence.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Shift Supervisor oversees multiple store functions, ensuring all associates work safely, efficiently, and productively.

Qualification Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or two years of experience preferred. Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without accommodations.

Rate Of Pay And Benefits

The hourly pay starts at $17.00 and can go up to $27.00.
