QuickChek Corp. in Colonie, NY is seeking a Store Shift Manager to keep the store running smoothly when the Store Manager is away.

You’ll lead by example, train team members, and uphold our Principles of Integrity, Respect, Citizenship, and Spirit to deliver Total Customer Dedication. Responsibilities include delivering fast, friendly service, cross-training across deli, caf, bakery and cashier roles, and ensuring safety, sanitation, and loss-prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and communicate effectively with team members in a fast-paced retail or food service environment.
• Strong customer-first mindset with positive attitude and interpersonal skills.
• Proven reliability and punctual attendance.
• Solid problem-solving ability with attention to detail, plus basic computer, math, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and align with company values.
• Prior shift leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, friendly, and helpful service while keeping fresh food stocked and appealing.
• Cross-train across deli, caf, bakery, and cashier roles to keep operations moving.
• Prepare food, handle transactions, and follow safety, sanitation, and loss-prevention standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe store interior and exterior for smooth operations.
• Support the team by staying informed on policies and helping hit daily goals.
