Job summary

Murphy USA is hiring immediate part-time Shift Leads to provide prompt and courteous customer experiences, assist with purchases and fuel transactions, and support store operations. You will lead the team, manage cash registers, and help ensure products and fuel are available while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Minimum 3 months of cashier experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching; lift up to 50 pounds.

• Responding to and resolving customer requests and concerns
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions
• Operating cash register
• Ensuring fuel and merchandise are available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives
• Performing job-related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management, provide backup duties including daily/monthly paperwork, problem resolution, video review, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and training new employees

RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
