Murphy USA Inc. is hiring part-time Shift Leads in Los Angeles, CA. You will provide prompt, courteous customer experiences, assist with purchases and fuel transactions, and help lead the team to meet store goals.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, maintaining stock and clean conditions, and supporting the Store Manager with daily operations and training new employees. Must be 18+ with GED or HS diploma and cashier experience.

• Must be 18+ years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customer's requests and concerns
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions
• Operating cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives
• Performing job related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
