Precision Tune Auto Care in Utah seeks an Automotive Service Manager to lead service advisors and technicians, drive sales, and ensure high-quality repairs and customer experiences.

You will oversee shop workflow, coach staff, manage profitability, and build strong relationships with fleet customers while maintaining safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Manager, Shop Manager, Assistant Manager, Service Advisor, or similar leadership role
• Automotive repair industry experience required
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to educate customers—not pressure them
• Ability to read repair orders and understand vehicle maintenance recommendations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer proficiency and point-of-sale experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Position Summary

The Automotive Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the repair shop while creating an exceptional customer experience and achieving sales and profitability goals.

This position leads the service advisors and technicians, oversees workflow, maintains shop efficiency, coaches team members, and ensures repairs are completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can motivate a team, develop employees, build customer trust, and drive business growth.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing

• Ability to safely operate customer vehicles

• Comfortable working in both office and shop environments
