Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Total Store Sanitation Representative to maintain cleanliness and safety across the store, inside and out, while ensuring a welcoming environment for customers. You will perform sanitation, stocked maintenance tasks, and assist customers as needed.

You will follow OSHA guidelines and SOPs, communicate issues to Store Leaders, and step in for Customer Service Assistant duties when required. This role is typically on-site at our Texas locations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safe handling procedures.
• Customer service oriented and able to assist customers with their needs.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation and maintenance of store floors, windows, break rooms and restrooms.
• Maintain department hand wash sinks with supplies (paper towels, soap, sanitizer).
• Clean up trash and debris from flower beds and store surroundings.
• Follow the chemical program and organize stock in maintenance area.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles throughout the store and departments.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards by following SOPs.
• Communicate maintenance needs or solutions to Store Leaders.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide service.
• Perform duties of Customer Service Assistant when needed.
