Job Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for the overall management and operational excellence of the store, focusing on supervision of Hardlines and Softlines Sales, including Camping, Fishing & Hunting, Outdoor, Firearms, Apparel, Footwear, and Team Sports. The role involves leading and coordinating activities through team leads and members to drive customer satisfaction, profitability, and store performance.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least three years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven success in leading departments of up to 40 people to achieve operational and sales goals.
Key Skills
  • Strong supervisory and management skills; ability to coach and lead by example.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Business acumen with understanding of market, competition, and profitability.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, order processing, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
