Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc. is seeking an Associate Lead to support store management, deliver a great customer experience, and help maximize profitability through sales and register transactions.

You will greet and assist customers, supervise associates, manage cash handling, merchandise presentation, and inventory flow while following company policies. This role requires 18+, a high school diploma, 2+ years of retail or sales leadership, willingness to travel district-wide, and a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Prior retail or sales management experience preferred (2+ years).
• Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
• Ability to travel to stores throughout the district.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
• Physical ability to stand, move on sales floor and stockroom, lift 50 pounds, and perform required duties.

Responsibilities

• Promotes customer service by greeting and assisting customers and handling inquiries professionally.
• Performs cash handling, price changes, merchandise handling, and open/close duties; reviews payroll docs for accuracy.
• Monitors associate performance, coaches, and schedules to ensure coverage and productivity.
• Maintains awareness of customer activity and security practices; follows payment and exchange policies.
• Manages merchandise presentation and promotions in line with current directives.
• Oversees receipt and dispatch of inventory and supplies per policy.
• Supervises sales and inventory processes; prepares weekly schedules within fiscal guidelines.
• Uses product knowledge to assist customers and suggest merchandise.
