Journeys is a teen retail leader offering a dynamic in-store experience with a focus on footwear and accessories. We seek a Sales Lead to support store management, mentor associates, and drive sales performance while delivering a fun, customer-focused experience.

Qualificações

• Meets/exceeds store and personal sales goals
• Assists in training and developing a successful sales team
• Provides feedback and coaching to employees and enforces policies
• Able to open/close store per policy
• Supervises daily store operations in management's absence
• Supervises loss prevention practices in management's absence
• Communicates store needs to management

Responsabilidades

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing all company policies and practices
• Perform all opening and closing duties according to company policy
• Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations in store management’s absence
• Supervise and manage all aspects of Loss Prevention practices in store management’s absence
• Effectively communicate all store needs to store management
• Complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities promptly
• Complete all required training
• Provide a fun, full service experience to all customers
• Resolve customer issues effectively
• Understand the Journeys culture and demonstrate it to the team
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Desire to succeed in fast-paced retail environment
• Willingness to learn
• Completion of all training programs leading up to Sales Lead position or equivalent training
• Ability to work night and weekend shifts
• Ability to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand for long periods of time
• Must be at least 18 years of age*
