Responsibilities

• Process freight and assist with price changes/markdowns.
• Balance the register according to company policy.
• Call out prices for the customer when ringing up a transaction.
• Bag merchandise efficiently when completing a customer’s transaction.
• Handle cash, checks and credit cards correctly and per policy.
• Obtain management approval for returns, voids and checks when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provide proper customer service: greet customers, follow fitting room policies, ring up customers promptly, thank customers and invite them to return.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Wear a name tag and maintain a professional appearance.
• Assist management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock level.
• Assist management with tasks per company policy.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Assist Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures and reporting incidents.
