Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balancing registers according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers during transactions
• Bagging merchandise efficiently
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping duties
• Providing excellent customer service, including greeting, assisting, and thanking customers
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting with merchandising and stock levels
• Supporting management with tasks per company policy
• Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers
• Assisting with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and reporting incidents
