Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balancing the register according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers during transactions
• Bagging merchandise efficiently
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping duties
• Providing excellent customer service, including greeting, fitting room policies, ringing up customers promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
• Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
• Supporting loss prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting theft or dishonesty, and following operational policies
