Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balancing the register according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers during transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently after transactions
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per company policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
• Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping duties
• Providing excellent customer service, including greeting, fitting room policies, timely service, and thanking customers
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
• Executing tasks as requested by management per company policy
• Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
• Assisting with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing theft, reporting incidents, and following operational policies
