Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns
• Balancing register according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers when ringing transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently after transactions
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
• Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Providing customer service: greeting customers, abiding by fitting room policies, ringing transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting return visits
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
• Supporting management with tasks per company policy
• Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions
• Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following operational policies
