Job summary

Good Earth is seeking a Full Time Receiver for our Fairfax store. The role involves receiving early morning deliveries, organizing loads, and distributing them within the store. You will collaborate with Department Managers and staff, and learn about the products Good Earth carries.

This is a full-time position with early morning shifts, Monday–Friday. The role requires strong organizational skills, physical stamina, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and safety awareness.
• Physically demanding with attention to paperwork and math.
• Forklift/pallet jack trained and certified preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• English fluency required.

Our Fairfax store is seeking a Full Time Receiver.

This is a great position for someone who loves a physical job, is great at organizing, and loves working on a team. This position is responsible for receiving early morning store deliveries, and organizing the loads and distributing within the store. You will have opportunities to communicate and collaborate with Department Managers and staff, while handling and learning about all the amazing products Good Earth carries. This position is Full Time, early AM Shifts, Monday-Friday shifts.

• Checking in all deliveries from vendors and distributors
• Breaking down deliveries by Department
• Entry of invoices into accounting system
• Communicating with Department Managers
• Maintaining organization and safety within receiving back room
• Using electric pallet jack

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills, knowledge of safe work practices and a high awareness of your physical environment.
• Ability to handle a very physical job that also requires aptitude with paperwork, basic math, and having a detail oriented mind.
• Preferred forklift and pallet jack trained and certified.
• Must have the ability to lift, bend and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to be on feet all day and to use a hand trucks and carts to ferry loads.
• Fluency in English required
