STORE/PRICE INTEGRITY LEAD CLERK (Finance)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Aptitude for managing people and organizing workloads
  • Ability to handle stressful situations tactfully and calmly, making positive impressions on associates and customers
  • Understanding of key department operations such as managing personnel, merchandising, inventory, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, and expense management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dependability and integrity reflected in past work records
  • Knowledge of employment laws and OSHA regulations

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining store UPC files (price changes, deletions, new items)
  • Checking in and testing scan systems for all vendors
  • Maintaining weekly ad item scanning files
  • Housekeeping in the computer room (cleaning filters, sweeping, mopping, checking backup systems, monthly power fail simulations)
  • Copying PLU files twice weekly
  • Maintaining retail accounting documentation
  • Testing store scan systems every 6-8 weeks
  • Maintaining special report files (A.C. Nielson, Sami, etc.)
  • Promoting and implementing company initiatives positively
  • Performing all other assigned duties
  • Working flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
