Job summary

Kroger in Colorado is seeking a detail-oriented store associate to maintain pricing documentation and uphold the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

You will manage UPC and PLU files, test vendor systems, audit weekly ad items, and ensure accurate retail accounting. The role requires flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays where needed, with a focus on customer service and shop-floor cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store UPC File (price changes, deletions, new items).
• Check in and test scan all vendors.
• Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file.
• Perform upkeep in computer room: clean filters, sweep floor, test backup systems, and simulate power failures monthly.
• Copy PLU File twice a week.
• Maintain documentation on all retail accounting.
• Test scan entire store every 6–8 weeks.
• Maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielsen, Sami, Special Item Movement Report).
• Perform other duties as assigned by store manager and scanning supervisors.
• Adhere to company policies & procedures, especially dress code, grooming, sanitation, and a harassment/discrimination-free environment.
• Maintain flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights; willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Effectively communicate with customers and associates.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

• Provide housekeeping in computer room, including checking and cleaning filters, sweeping and mopping computer room floor, checking battery backup systems, and once a month power fail simulation)
• Copy PLU File twice a week
• Maintain documentation on all retail accounting
• Test scan entire store every six to eight weeks
• Maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielson, Sami, Special Item Movement Report)
• Perform other duties as assigned by store manager and scanning supervisors
• Adhere to company policies & procedures, particularly in the areas of dress code, grooming, sanitation, and maintenance of a work environment free of unlawful harassment or discrimination
