Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Clerk to join our team.

Town Pump is a growing company offering increasing opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, handle cash and perform accounting duties, stock and price merchandise, rotate stock, display products, maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, ensure store safety and security, and sell and prepare deli foods.
• Operate computerized cash register, give correct change, process credit card transactions, accept checks, and bag merchandise.
• Build rapport with regular customers, answer and screen phone calls, monitor store security, detect shoplifters, and address customer complaints.
• Stock shelves and coolers, complete shift duties accurately, clean and maintain store areas, handle vendor check-ins, follow protocol systems, and report policy violations to management.
• Maintain the exterior by sweeping the lot, shoveling snow, cleaning gas pumps, and restocking water and cleaning solution buckets.
• Keep the hot dog roller, nacho and popcorn machines, condiment station, coffee, and fountain areas clean, stocked, and filled.
• Perform deli duties in smaller locations as specified in the deli job description.
