STORE/OVERNIGHT CLERK (Finance)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
  • Effective communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Any retail experience
  • Second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Responsibilities include:

  • Promote trust and respect among associates
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and providing product suggestions
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department
  • Recommend grocery items and inform customers of specials
  • Check product quality and review sell-by dates
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; provide fresh products as ordered
  • Report discrepancies and safety issues to management
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed and unsafe conditions are reported
  • Perform preventive maintenance and notify management of equipment issues
  • Report accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
