Job summary

Family Fare in Cadillac, MI is seeking a department supervisor to lead daily store operations, ensure staff are trained, and meet company goals and KPIs. You will manage inventory, validate orders, supervise stocking and production, and enforce safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate (Required) or Equivalent (GED).
• Two years of retail experience preferred.
• One-year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Order and maintain inventory in your department, ensuring product freshness and quality.
• Review and validate received orders for amount, quality, count or weight, condition, and storage.
• Manage a team that completes stocking, production, and related tasks to ensure quality, planning, and rotation.
• Maintain familiarity with products in the department and store.
• Know advertised items, special prices, and store rewards programs.
• Communicate and execute weekly and period Flight Plans to company expectations.
• Use required tools to manage scheduling, forecasted guidelines, and payroll expense.
• Implement and maintain department schedules, labor control, and overtime.
