Job Description:
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
Work Experiences:
- At least three years of relevant work experience required.
- Demonstrated success in leading departments of up to 40 people to drive operational excellence and sales targets.
Other Requirements:
- Must meet federal and state requirements for selling and processing firearms transactions.
- Must meet requirements to qualify for and maintain an FOID card (Illinois only).

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overall store operations and ensure operational excellence.
- Participate in personnel decisions including hiring, training, discipline, and development.
- Supervise and provide oversight to team members to ensure excellent customer service.
- Develop strategies to meet operational goals and manage staffing and scheduling.
- Improve workforce productivity and efficiency through process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with sales, safety, and security regulations.
- Oversee departmental standards and store standards adherence.
- Supervise delegated tasks and participate in store walks and feedback implementation.
- Audit firearm sales for compliance, including completing ATF Form 4473 and background checks.
- Complete required firearms sales and leadership training.
- Manage team member lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, and coaching.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
- Adhere to management work hours and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements & Attendance:
- Must be able to talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, and use hands frequently.
- Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
