At Academy Sports + Outdoors, our purpose is to make it easier for everyone to enjoy more sports and outdoors activities. The Operations Manager position is responsible for the overall management and execution of operational excellence across the entire store, with a focus on supervising and managing team members in store operations, including Asset Protection, Cashiers, Loss Prevention, Inventory Control, and Maintenance. This role involves directing activities through subordinate team leads and employees, effectively driving overall store performance through supervision, communication, and coordination. The Operations Manager leads the team to achieve goals that impact customer satisfaction, store profitability, and align with Academy's purpose.
