Job summary

Gallery Dept. in Los Angeles seeks a Stock & Operations Supervisor to manage inventory, shipping, receiving, and store flow at our flagship location. You will uphold accuracy, organize stock areas, and support the sales team while ensuring loss prevention and data integrity in Shopify.

You may lead as an experienced contributor or supervise a small team, delegate tasks, train colleagues, and participate in storefront meetings. Final title and level depend on experience and store needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail stock, inventory, shipping and receiving or store operations.
• Prior lead, training, or supervisory experience preferred for higher level roles.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set operational standards and follow loss-prevention practices.
• Oversee shipping/receiving, verify quantities, and escalate discrepancies.
• Maintain organized stock areas and ensure proper tagging and logging.
• Support stock checks, store transfers, and vendor returns.
• Coordinate with distribution and inventory control to reconcile variances.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventories; communicate results.
