Job summary

Altar’d State in Leawood, KS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader of Operations to support the Store Leader in delivering exceptional guest service, achieving sales goals, controlling costs, and maintaining merchandising standards.

You will develop talent, coach associates, manage schedules, oversee loss prevention, and ensure a clean, inviting store environment, while leading by example in line with the brand's Stand Out For Good ethos.

Qualifications

• 1 year Retail Management.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Physical ability to perform tasks, which could require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling and/or squatting frequently. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Fosters a guest-focused team environment by driving volume and guest needs.
• Achieves excellent guest service by role-modeling company service standards.
• Coaches and provides feedback to associates to drive retention and performance.
• Manages scheduling and back-of-house organization to meet store goals.
• Oversees inventory, loss prevention and banking controls to protect Company assets.
• Leads floor sets and merchandising presentation with District/Visual partners.
• Trains new associates on operational processes and payroll tasks.
