Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to supervise all shift activities. You will oversee cost controls, inventory management, cash handling and the overall customer experience, ensuring every transaction is accurate and every policy is followed.

The role requires strong leadership, staff coordination, effective communication, and a commitment to cleanliness, image and standards. You will train teammates, schedule assignments, process orders, and build rapport with customers

Qualifications

• Communication skills required for verbal, written and telephone interactions.
• Ability to understand and follow written instructions.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven accuracy in cash handling and transactions.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.
• Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, and adherence to schedules and standards.
• Maintain perfect image, attendance and punctuality, manage transportation to/from work, ensure store cleanliness, and support marketing and profitability.
