Chico's FAS, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at our Princeton, NJ location to support the store manager in sales, operations, asset protection, and human resources, ensuring a great customer experience.

You will handle weekly scheduling, coaching, cash handling, inventory control, visual merchandising, and compliance, while promoting excellent service and profitability. Starting wage is $19.92 per hour and a broad benefits program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Minimum 3 years prior retail or sales management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
• Able to travel to stores throughout the district.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepares weekly schedules to ensure floor coverage within fiscal guidelines.
• Promotes customer service by greeting and assisting customers.
• Supervises associates in sales, inventory receipt, and customer services.
• Models sales techniques and helps customers locate merchandise.
• Maintains a visually appealing store with housekeeping and merchandising.
• Trains associates on visual merchandising.
• Monitors sales activities, provides feedback, and motivates staff.
• Handles cash, pricing changes, and merchandise handling per policy.
• Manages inventory receipt/dispatch and daily replenishment.
• Ensures store operations are safe and well-maintained.
• Supports recruiting, training, and performance feedback.
• Other duties as assigned.
