Job summary

ALDI USA in Peoria, AZ is seeking a lead store associate (keyholder) responsible for independently opening and closing the store when management is absent. You will guide associates, stockers and cashiers through opening and closing duties while maintaining store standards and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will oversee operations, participate in loss prevention, enforce policies, and collaborate with management to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop rapport, trust, and open communication that enhances the performance of the team.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to provide effective leadership of store personnel and achieve planned results.
• Ability to understand and implement Standard Operating Procedures and company policies to achieve the store's goals and maintain compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the appropriate resolution of employee and customer concerns, aligning with store management as needed.
• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to store personnel in the absence of store management to ensure desired results.
• Assists store management with implementing action plans to improve operating results and personnel development.
• Informs store management of team developments and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Communicates, cooperates, and interacts effectively with all levels of ALDI employees, customers, third-party vendors, and business partners.
