Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to open and close the store when management is away, handle cash, refunds, and returns, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business. You will greet customers, provide product help, and model exceptional service.

Responsibilities include pricing accuracy, inventory maintenance, displays, and cooperation with store operations. Knowledge of store procedures and regulatory compliance is beneficial.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Knowledge of store inventory control (preferred).
• Arrest/conviction records considered; equal opportunity employer.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and start-ups.
• Process returns, refunds, and cash drops; provide change at registers.
• Deliver an engaging customer experience and assist with products and services.
• Maintain accurate registers, pricing, signage and documentation for price changes.
• Assist with inventory, displays, resets, and stockroom organization.
• Support with vendor deliveries and backdoor access as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations for regulated products.
