Job summary

Circle K in Hermitage, PA is seeking a full-time store associate to deliver prompt, friendly customer service and manage daily transactions.

You will greet shoppers, ring up sales, assist with merchandising, inventory, and shift responsibilities while upholding store standards and safety. Flexible shifts include days, evenings, overnights and weekends in a fast-paced retail setting.

This role requires reliable attendance, basic arithmetic, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Ability to perform the four arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred.
• Ability to work in the conditions described below.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner.
• Rings up all sales on cash register properly and accurately.
• Performs multi-function operation of fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions, etc.
• Maintains the store facility’s condition and equipment to brand standards by cleaning and performing housekeeping duties.
• Completes build-to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise and verifies vendor deliveries.
• Monitors shift sales and cash handling procedures; assists with inventory and shift audits.
• Supervises staff in the absence of Store Assistant Manager and helps train new employees.
