Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Emporia, KS is hiring a New Store Retail Associate to help set up the new location, merchandise, stock, fixture setup and prepare for opening. The role focuses on store readiness and customer service once we launch, with potential for ongoing store roles based on performance.

You will unload and stock merchandise, assemble displays, maintain signage, greet customers, operate the register, and support ongoing store maintenance.

Qualifications

• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays regularly.
• Effective communication and a positive attitude.
• Strong customer service skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up and preparing a new store location prior to opening.
• Unload, stock, and organize merchandise across the store.
• Assemble, move, and adjust fixtures and product displays.
• Greet customers and operate the register when needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized sales floor and stockroom.
