STORE/NIGHT CLERK (Finance)

Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Effective communication skills.

• Retail experience.
• Second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing).

Responsibilities:

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products and store services.
• Maintain knowledge of products and suggest items to customers, informing them of specials.
• Ensure product quality and freshness, review sell-by dates, and take appropriate action.
• Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to the manager.
• Display a positive attitude and stay current with advertisements and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures, documenting logs.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and participate in safety programs.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
• Report accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities such as theft or fraud.
