STORE/NIGHT CLERK (Finance)

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Effective communication skills.

• Any retail experience.
• Second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing).

Responsibilities:

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions and making product suggestions.
• Gain and maintain product knowledge to respond to customer inquiries and inform about specials.
• Check product quality and freshness, review sell-by dates, and take appropriate action.
• Label, stock, and inventory merchandise, ensuring customers receive ordered products.
• Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude and stay current with advertisements and promotions.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper temperature logs.
• Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
• Practice preventive maintenance and report equipment issues.
• Notify management of customer or employee accidents and report safety risks or illegal activities.
